Meeting Room Update

Well for the record I am up 1.4#’s this week. It was to be expected as I used a few more of my weekly points on empty calories. I will plan on cutting back on them this week.

What does the menu really tell us about the food we eat outside the home. We spent most of the meeting speaking about what keeps us motivated. On the menus look out for high fat options and portion sizes. Ask how the meal is prepared.

A nice end to the tracking week. I had a great Valentine’s Day and did not over do it by sharing a piece of chocolate cake with dinner. While I did make use of my Weekly Allowance points during the week I feel I was in control of my actions and am looking for continued success.

Mostly a good day, had a lot of frustrations with some of the aspects of my job, but toward the end of the day it all worked out. I did not stress eat and that was a success. Had bowling league unfortunately I was not on my game. Just drank water during the match, another success. However when I got home I wanted to finish reading a book I started on my Kindle Fire over the weekend and I stayed up to late and fell asleep in my chair, Kindle on my lap. Oh well I finished the book this morning during breakfast.

A nice Saturday, I was able to get a head start on my chores and caught up on my reading. I wanted something different for dinner and found a great reicpe for lamb shanks. I was able to reduce some of the points by trimming the fat, the meal was worth the point plus value.

Sucess is not eating in a rut and making sure you track it all.

I like busy days, as I do not think about food. Made smart choices at the meeting I was presenting at as lunch was provided. Someone who had not seen me in a few months commented on my noticeable weight loss, what a great motivator. I did use a few of my weekly points as it was pizza night. Meeting Room Update

For the record I am down again this week. I lost .2#’s as of now I have a loss for 4 weeks in a row.

The topic for this week is “Track and Lose”. I know that making sure I track everything I put in my mouth has worked keeping me on plan and on target. 

Lots of great celebrations on weight loss and great Super Bowl success parties. 

Tracking keeps us accountable and being accountable allows us to be successful.  If you have a phone take a picture of your plate so you do not become a victim of food amnesia.  Here is a great quote “If you snack it track it. “

Another busy day, had to get my windshield repaired (rock chip) took the car to Safelite they are the best fast and thorough.
